It Was a Steamer

Today was sooooo hot, we decided to break out the kiddie pool we borrowed for Dan's birthday party.  I think the water was a bit chilly, so Dan spent most of the time standing and chucking balls over the side.  But it was a lot better than sitting inside, that was for sure.

So Danny's getting five teeth at once now, including two molars.  Maybe that explains the grouchiness...

The Mountain View Thief!

Somebody thieved my hat while we were up North!

As David mentioned, Danny and I headed up to Mountain View to have a little company, and what great company it was.  Danny and Lucia became BFF within minutes, and Heather and I had some amazing walks and talks.  I actually bought makeup for the first time in, oh, literally, 7 years.  

They also gave up their baby room, Peter's office, their Bugaboo, their car seat, and some peace and quiet so we could be there.  We are grateful.

The kiddos at a fancy Pizza parlor.  Give them a few years and they'll be on their blackberries.

Danny and Baylee also became fast friends...until she ate a teething biscuit right out of his mouth...

I miss them

Mary and Dan are visiting Heather, Peter, and Lucia in Mountain View while I work insane hours. Here they are at some random restaurant in Silicon Valley. If I had to guess, Mary had an omelette. Dan probably ordered the blueberry pancakes.

I can't wait for this movie to be finished.
