This Must Be Genetic (And Have Skipped a Generation)

I came out to the garage the other day to find this:

What you can't really see is that Danny had a screwdriver and was "fixing the tires" quite seriously - i.e., sticking the screwdrivers in the spokes of the tire wheels and just rattling it around.  Matt's just trying to get in so he can pretend to drive.

What's unfortunate is that Danny can't figure out how to fix our alternator, which is broken, and we can't afford to fix, meaning I have to jump-start the car every single time I need to drive the kids to, for example, preschool. 

Come on Dan, you slacker!  What are you, three?!?!?

Buzz and Little Buzz

So you can imagine that occasionally Danny asks to wear his Buzz Lightyear costume around the house.  The sweet thing is that Danny (who can be a total pain in the butt about his little brother) will ask that Matt wear the wings, so they can both be Buzz.  He is big Buzz, and Matt is little Buzz.  Pretty cute.  Danny, you're alright.

Thanksgiving

It was a pretty calm year.  Great turkey, Dave's stuffing, lots of mashed potaters, some green beans and my famous chocolate pecan pie.  John made some parmesan-stuffed, bacon-wrapped dates to start us off.

We all enjoyed it - Matt especially.  (Already digging in.  Can't even wait for the prayer.  Guess that bath-tism didn't take...)

Danny's face is strange-looking because he insisted that we paint his face like "Cheesy Face" - who is Spongebob Squarepants, whom he saw in an advertisement.  We didn't have yellow paint, so red had to do.  And he refused to take it off.  You know, a normal day around here.  Don't judge.
