Levon Update

So many of you know that the film is screening at the LA Film Fest this week. Lala came out so David could come to tonight's show.

The great news is that we're still getting good reviews, like this one. Recognize anybody else's name in there you might know? Apparently it's his first mention in Variety too, so hey now!

We also got our first offer to distribute the film, by the Beastie Boys' distribution company, Oscilloscope. Say as many prayers as you can that this works out.

Also, to crack up, check this out. Yes, that's Ken's red underwear sticking out. Keepin' it classy.

Matty's First Trip

Matty and I went back to Delaware for Pops' heart surgery, and boy was he a trooper. Two long airplane trips (albeit one First Class...hello!), many long hours in a hospital waiting room (somebody has an iron immune system after that)...and many long hours getting crazy with Lala.

It was actually REALLY nice to spend that week one-on-one with the new guy, and I think he liked it too. He really came out of his shell. Lots of crazy squeals and big smiles, and lots and lots of snuggling.

Here is a shot from our trip back - we had an entire row and Matty didn't peep until we got stuck with a bum jetway (who wouldn't complain?)

Playing with the chair

Matty was sitting in his chair and Danny insisted that I (David) put the aquarium portion up so that Matty could "look at it". I think he really wanted to use it as an excuse to goof off in front of Matt.

Our House is For Sale

The sign is up outside. (Welcome home!!) It's really happening.

Dan's message to Pops

Mary and Matty are in Delaware in advance of Pops's heart surgery this week. Amid the 50 billion requests of "Mommy hold you" or "I want my mommy" and, oddly, "Want to watch hockey" (because it's the Stanley Cup finals, natch), Danny managed to say a few words for Pops:

("Feel better, Pops...I hope they fix your heart,Pops...")
