Back in One Piece...Barely

We're back in LA...worst plane ride in recorded history...let's just say that we taxied to the gate after landing with son Daniel literally sleeping on the floor of the airplane. This was only after we landed, and yes, you read this correctly, and yes, I know that is awful on so many levels, but trust me, and you're just going to have to trust me, that it was the best of all possible scenarios. When David looked at me and said, "just let him stay there," you KNOW it was bad.

Heavens.

However, the rest of our trip had many things to share that are much more pleasant, and here are two pictures to tide you over until we can catch our breath.

Back in Baltimore

We're back, and having a great time in Baltimore. We're living in Emily's parents' house in Ednor Gardens (two blocks from where the old Orioles stadium used to be). It's a really cool old rowhouse in a great little neighborhood and we're just happy as clams.




Danny just goes up and down the stairs, up and down the stairs ("by himself, like a big boy!)


And today, since Emily was shooting something up in Philly, we took a stroll to the local YMCA's phenomenal playground,



then past the old Pocket Park in Charles Village (David and Danny's old stomping grounds),




then had lunch at Eddie's Market right near the Hopkins Campus. Sadly, the place that sold the vegetable-flavored ice cream has closed since last year. :(

Also, sometime after we arrived on the East Coast, Mr. Matthew turned 3 months old! Hooray!!
