Matty's Baptism

Well, our camera was on the fritz, so here's the best we have, which is pretty terrible.  If anybody has pictures, we'd love to see them.

This is the amazing-smelling baby after he'd been filled with the Holy Spirit and annointed with chrism.  It lingered for an entire day, through the flight, even until now.

Here is the dude of the hour with Father Hynes.  It was a slightly - rowdy, shall we say - baptism, but a very wonderful baptism.  The best part was after the blessing with the baptismal water, he cried out, "Hooray!  I did it!"   (Well, either that, or when David and I whiffed the question of what we wanted for Matthew.  The right answer was "baptism," and of course we both thought it was supposed to be a treatise on the importance of faith in our lives.  Talk about over-thinking it...)

Here he is with Danny, whom he also baptized two years ago.

3rd Annual Pump Station Halloween Party!

We basically jumped off the plane and headed to the party, but it was great.  First there was a pinata, which Matty took a good shot at too.

Here's everybody! (Almost, except for Matt, who must have been inside with me, who didn't know this was happening!)

Hang in There

It's been a crazy month: Mary's birthday, Mary optioning a script, Danny getting sick, Mary going to Good Pitch in San Francisco, me getting sick, our anniversary, visits from LaLa and NaNa, me going back to work, Mary getting sick, everyone flying to Delaware for a wedding, me flying back, Mary interviewing Congressman Elijah Cummings, me doing a temp mix of the movie I am working on, Mary having a fundraiser in Baltimore, and Matt and Dan both getting sick. And in the next week and a half, Mary will have another fundraiser, I will fly back out to Delaware for Matt's baptism, we then fly back to California in time for Halloween.

We'll have a photo/movie dump soon. My computer can't load photos from my phone, so I have to wait for Mary's return and Mary, well, she can post stuff when she's sleeping or something.

We'll have a video of Matt saying all sorts of cute things "C'mon!" and "Where'd it go? I don't know!" (complete with gestures), and "Oh No!" (with hands on his face).
