Eagles Mere

The Clan Finan got together for their yearly trip to "The Cabin" (a.k.a. The Moldy Dust Den) for Thanksgiving. This year was a record 37 people sleeping under one roof! On top of that, no one got sick for the first time ever and The Moldy Dust Den did not live up to its name.

Once we got there, Dan got to entertaining with his sweet dance moves. He also wanted to know everyone's name, repeatedly asking "Who's that?" Dani proved to be confusing to him since he thought he was Danny. The next morning, he was asking for Quinn by name and wanted to be held by her when he took a walk to downtown Eagles Mere.

Mary had some work to do on "Murder in the Village" doc, so she took the train down to Baltimore for the day while Pops and DiDi looked after Dan. Pops drove down to Baltimore to reunite mother and son. They had dinner with Emily at the Trinidad restaurant so Mary could have some Jerk Chicken Roti ("that stuff is crack"), which I am insanely jealous of because their Jerk Chicken is extremely tasty. Mary, Dan, and Pops drove to D.C. where Pops took the train back to Wilmington and Mary and Dan drove down to Midlothian to see Nana and PaPa (and Auntie and Grandad). Mary drove in a downpour, but the sweet sounds of rain lulled Dan into a restful slumber.
