Yes, it is a TV remote, but we usually don't let him handle the phone for fears that he will makes calls to China or something. Like his parents, he paces around the house while on the phone. Also note that he pauses as to let the person on the other end of the line talk. The recording stopped right before he threw the "phone" to the floor symbolizing the end of the call after he says "bye".

HYSTERICAL! Seriously!!
I wonder where he gets the pacingwhileonthephone stance. Has dad seen this?! How about Uncle David?
That is one totally funny toddler you have there!
more...more...more.
Time to sign up for an unlimited minutes plan –– and put my number in speed dial! He definitely said he wanted to speak to "Nanana."
Un-be-lievably cute!
He must have been on the phone with Aunt Ju if he didn't want to hang up!
This is my favorite of all time. So, so, so cute!!!
Aunt Elizabeth
The pacing, it's genetic -- only way to talk on the phone and concentrate. Looks like he's doing a big deal somewhere; Hollywood mogul type. Let me know when you give him a real phone -- I'll start calling him.
