Subway to Culver City

The newest station opened up on the subway in LA - the Culver City stop on the Expo Line.  They gave free rides all day, so we took them up on it.  We rode to USC, played for a while at the playground there, and came back.

It's pretty great - more like the DC Metro than the NYC subway, but really futuristic around Culver City where they built a big bridge that swoops up and around like a monorail.  

This subway line is supposed to go all the way to the Santa Monica pier eventually - in 2016.  That really could have the power to radically change this city.  Here's hoping!
