Baby Brother's New Bed

Nana bought us this beautiful, I mean beautiful bassinet for the little one on his way. You may remember we used the stroller's bassinet attachment for Danny, but that thing has seen some hard Venice road, let alone become the sleeping spot of choice for Simon.

It's good it's so beautiful, because it's going to be hanging out right here in front of our faces. And it will work for at least 6 months, if not more, which means we can transition new baby right into Danny's crib when they're both ready.

We moved all of the office into the new rented office, leaving us a corner in which to create a new baby's room. But I think it looks awfully inviting.

We received two books from our friends Susan and Gary called "Waiting for Baby" and "My New Baby," and in the first, the Daddy and the little boy build a crib for the new baby. When Danny wants to read it (which is approximately 1000 times a day), he points to the bassinet and the crib in the book and shouts, "SAME! SAME!"
